About Coahuila
Coahuila, one of Mexico's largest states, is located in the northern region of the country, bordering the United States to the north. The state is characterized by its vast deserts, mountain ranges, and a diverse climate that supports a variety of ecosystems. Coahuila's economy is driven by its rich mineral resources, particularly coal and silver, as well as its thriving manufacturing sector, which includes automotive and aerospace industries. The state is also a leader in Mexican wine production, with the oldest winery in the Americas, Casa Madero, located in the Parras Valley. Coahuila is rich in paleontological history, with significant dinosaur fossil discoveries that have made it a key area for research.
